Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation Review

Neutral_35-SMFSMF-hero-awards

Not long ago I was on the hunt for a good foundation.  My criteria was as follows:
- Not too many unnecessary ingredients and chemicals.
- A light to moderate foundation
- A foundation that did not feel heavy on my skin

I came across Alima Pure while searching the web and decided to give it a try.  Let me start off by saying
Alima Pure Satin Matte Foundation is an AMAZING product. They have many shades to choose from and a shade selector to help you if you are really not able to decide.  They have samples which are only $1.50.  The samples come with a good amount of product in them.  I decided that Neutral 3.5 is the best shade for me. It's smooth, light and it covers the redness around my nose very well.  It doesn't wear off after a few hours.  This loose powder foundation only has a few basic ingredients.  I had never used a loose powder foundation before but it blended so easily that I became a pro at it in no time at all.  They even sent me a few free samples with my order.  It truly is a great foundation. I suggest giving them a try.

Merona Rose Gold Watch

Merona Rose Gold Watch from Target

I blogged earlier this week about wanting the Merona Rose Gold Watch from Target along with some other accessories.  I did make it to Target for this weeks sale.  The watch came out to $11.99.  It's beautiful and it feels wonderful.  I would compare it to a high end watch we all know and love.  It does not feel cheap at all. I honestly love it.  I've only had it for 2 days and I've gotten so many compliments already.

Update:  6/30/2013- I'm not sure that they sell this watch anymore but here are some that I have found that are similar with varying prices.(click on words below  to find out more info.)
bracelet watch, womens watch, watch with stones, stella watch, Style&co watch.

Orly Rage Nail Polish

A product thumbnail of Orly Nail Lacquer Rage
I am sure you have seen Rose Gold accessories everywhere.  Well,  how about rose gold nails.  Earlier this summer I found Orly Rage nail polish.  I love, love, love this polish.

  • It goes on smoothly.
  • It dries quickly.
  • No streaks.
  • The color is a beautiful shimmery rose gold.
It lasted for more than a week without chipping.  I wore it during the summer and I know I will be wearing it even more during the Fall.  It's a beautiful color.

Sibu Skincare and Clinique All Abut Eyes

All About Eyes Richhttp://www.sibubeauty.com/images/products/repair_protect.jpgCleanse & Detox

My skincare routine is very basic.  My skin does not have many blemishes or problems to begin with.  I do have some redness around my nose and my skin is normal to dry.

Cleanse face- Sibu- Cleanse and Detox soap
Moisturize- Sibu-Sea Buckthorn Repair and Protect facial cream
Eye cream- Clinique- All About Eyes Rich

I like not having to put too many products on my face and this seems to work wonderfully for me.  Skincare is essential in maintaining your beauty.  I recently discovered the Sibu line of skincare and I am loving it.  It's an all natural skincare line.  Since using Sibu, my skin has become more radiant and it evens out my skintone.  I really cannot say enough about this product.  I recommend it to everyone.  I even recommend it to younger readers because it's all natural.

I have been trying out a few high end and drugstore eye creams.  Clinque All About Eyes Rich really works the best for me.  I really do feel it benefits the skin under my eyes .  It's moisturizing, reduces dark circles and de-puffs.   I haven't tried the Sibu eye cream yet.  But once I do I'll let you know if I like it more than the Clinique eye cream.

Again, maintaining beautiful skin is essential.  Take the time to at least have a good skincare routine even if you you don't have time to put any makeup on.

Mascara:
Tarte- Lights Camera Lashes-  Makes my lashes look so pretty.
Clinique mascara- Honestly I love all of them.  They do not irritate my eyes.
Maybelline Megaplush Volume mascara- This feels so nice.  It doesn't feel clumpy.  A really lovely mascara.

Lip balm:
Burt’s Bee's- Original beeswax- The mint flavor is a little overpowering at first but quickly the flavor fades.  It really makes my dry lips feel amazing.

Lipstick:
Revlon Lip Butter- Cotton Candy shade.  I just love the neutral pink shade with some gold shimmer.
Clinique Long Last lipstick- Twilight Nude shade- This is a beautiful shade that can bring you right into Fall.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog.  This is my first post.  So let me introduce myself.  My name is Kat.  I am creating this blog to help myself and other women grow in style. I know that there was a time when my whole life revolved around my children.  I didn't think about myself. Then I realized one day that I had forgotten about myself.  Where had my style gone?  I didn't even own a lipstick or lip gloss anymore.  So here I am trying to find my style again.   I really hope you enjoy my blog posts.  Here is a picture of me and my wonderful husband.  Enjoy!
