Hurricane Sandy has affected many people from NY, NJ, PA and many more. My thoughts go out to those who are still suffering. I live on the East Coast and it's an extremely scary time for us. So much flooding in NY and NJ. So many items have been ruined. Many people in the suburbs or rural areas have private wells and private septic. So if there is no electricity then they have no running water and no way to flush toilets except by finding buckets of water to put into toilets. High schools that have power are opening up so people can charge cell phones and take showers. Its very cold here on the East coast and people just can't get warm enough. Of course many people are living at family and friends houses but they still need to be home at times. I went yesterday to get gas and I was the last person to fill my tank before everyone was turned away because the gas station had run out of gas. My children have not gone to school in a week because there is no power at the school. My prayers go out to all of those that have been affected. Stay strong!
